Agents write the code. Reko decides the goals, the limits and what goes live.
Below is Hintapiste.fi’s development on 10–11 Oct 2026 as the event log recorded it. Every task takes the same route: the scheduler hands it to an agent, the change passes the checks before it is merged, and the main check shows whether the whole still holds.

Glossary
- Product lead
- Sets the goals and the order. Product and production decisions come to Reko; within the agreed limits, the agents decide the rest.
- Controller
- An agent that writes the tasks, reviews finished changes and brings Reko only the decisions that need a person.
- Scheduler
- A program that gives each lane its next ready task and starts an agent for it. If no task is ready, the lane waits.
- Gate
- Every change runs the same checks before it is merged: tests, types, the build, the design rules and the data checks. Only a change that passes is merged.
- Lane
- A lane is an area of work, such as the platform, the interface or search. Lanes move in parallel, and every run ends with a result: merged, blocked, closed or usage limit reached.
- Main check
- After a merge, the checks run on the whole main branch. A red result shows on this row, and the next green one shows the fault is fixed.
- Production
- A release takes the main branch to production. A halt means a release was stopped and left waiting.
