Search market analysis

Turns Search Console, Semrush and SE Ranking data into a picture of who shows up in search, for which searches, and where the gaps are.

Problem

Competitor views of search are often put together by hand in spreadsheets, so they can’t be repeated or checked.

Value

The view of competitors and demand can be rebuilt any time, and every result can be checked.

Role

Design and direction. Agents wrote most of the code.

  • A Search Console classifier in Rust, compared with the earlier Python version, with a written decision on which differences are accepted.
  • Competitor data: about 100 search competitors per site, checked and combined into files and maps.
  • A repeatable picture of the search market: the original data unchanged, unified keywords and sites, and overlaps, groups and opportunities.

Limits

  • Stops on purpose before creating pages, improving conversion or earning money.
  • Built on data from paid SEO tools; the files are not published.
